RNLI Cheque presentation

Pictured at Stromness Harbour on Tuesday 23rd August, Stewart Taylor, Stromness Lifeboat Operations Manager, receiving a cheque from Stuart Garrett, Managing Director of NorthLink Ferries.
The cheque presented was for the amount of £2,210 and NorthLink Ferries intends to continue the support to RNLI – in 2016, we hope to exceed last year’s total.
Stewart Taylor said “We’re very grateful for this generous donation to lifeboat funds and appreciate the support we receive from NorthLink Ferries”.
Also present were John Davidson, Stromness Lifeboat Mechanic, Capt. Alan McLeod and Capt. Sean Smith; Chris Tait, Chief Officer; Henry Stewart, Bosun; Duncan Nicolson, Chief Engineer and fellow crew of the MV Hamnavoe.
