NorthLink Ferries celebrates mothers with a chance to win Shetland jewellery
Friday 29th March 2019
Whether it’s a day of pampering and relaxation or one of adventure and activities, Mother’s Day is always the perfect opportunity to remind mums how special they are.
As sons and daughters travel this weekend to see their mums, NorthLink Ferries is helping those still searching for that perfect gift by offering the chance to win a beautiful handmade pendant from Shetland Jewellery.
A stunning addition to Shetland Jewellery’s ‘Mirrie Dancers’ collection, the pendant’s design is drawn from Scandinavian mythology and wildlife local to the islands. The piece has been handcrafted from start to finish by expert craftspeople to ensure it is of the highest quality.
Those looking to give the unforgettable gift of the ‘Mirrie Dancers Round Pendant’ have until Sunday 31 March to enter via the NorthLink Ferries Facebook page.
Families travelling on Mother’s Day can also enjoy a sweet treat on board NorthLink Ferries’ vessels as the crew are offering cream teas for just £1. Passengers will be able to enjoy fresh tea and scones with delicious clotted cream and the finest jam from local suppliers on the Northern Isles.
All proceeds raised by the special cream tea offer will be donated to support the vital work of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
Seumas Campbell, Serco’s Customer Service Director at NorthLink Ferries, commented: “As Mother’s Day is just around the corner we know that many passengers will be travelling between Scrabster and Stromness, and Aberdeen to Kirkwall and Lerwick, to see their mums, so we wanted to offer something special for those still scrambling for that perfect gift.”
Social media followers have until Sunday 31 March to enter NorthLink Ferries’ competition on its Facebook page.
