In 2024, NorthLink Ferries have entered into an exciting collaboration with Little Brown Dog, an independent bottler and micro distillery from Fetternear, Aberdeenshire.

Wee Mongrel is a blend of Little Brown Dog rum casks aged 8-15 years, which has been produced especially for the bars on board MV Hjaltland and MV Hrossey. It has a ABV of 40% and includes the NorthLink Ferries Viking logo on the packaging
