Serco NorthLink Ferries Teams Up with Best-Selling Author

Serco NorthLink Ferries is set to welcome a best-selling crime author on board next week.
Passengers will have the chance to meet Ann Cleeves, the writer best known for her murder mystery tales based in Shetland, as she travels from Kirkwall to Lerwick on Thursday, 11 September.
Every passenger on-board will also receive a free copy of Blue Lightning, the fourth book in the Shetland Islands series.
She will be heading north as she joins forces with Orkney and Shetland Libraries for ‘24 Islands/24 Hours’, a unique series of events celebrating reading, writing and libraries in a 24 hour race against the clock.
From 3.00 pm on Thursday 11th September to 3.00 pm on Friday 12th September there will be events on 24 islands in Orkney and Shetland, culminating in the launch of Ann’s new Shetland novel, Thin Air at Britain’s most northerly library, in Baltasound, Unst.
