Sponsorship for Orkney Football Teams

Orkney Youth Development Group teams have stepped out in new football strips thanks to a three-year sponsorship deal from NorthLink Ferries.

The new red Adidas kit will see the Group’s four junior teams, including under 11s, under 12s under 13s and under 15s, with distinctive strips for competitions both on and off the Islands until May 2018.

Speaking of the sponsorship, James Linklater, Customer Care Manager at NorthLink Ferries, said: “We are very pleased to be supporting Orkney Youth Development Group and look forward to seeing the junior teams playing in their new strips and of course, wish all of the teams every success in future matches.”

“Our junior teams are really impressed with the kit and look forward to wearing them as they compete at matches across the country.”

NorthLink Ferries’ support of Orkney Youth Development Group is part of a wider pledge to support Orkney and Shetland’s community activities, events and groups.

A selection of the football strips will be available for purchase in the NorthLink Ferries on board shop in the New Year.
