NorthLink Ferries operate four main freight routes – Lerwick to Aberdeen, Lerwick to Kirkwall, Kirkwall to Aberdeen and Stromness to Scrabster, providing freight customers with a reliable and cost effective way of transporting cargoes. NorthLink’s freight service is fully integrated with its passenger vessel service. The dedicated freight vessels MV Hascosay and MV Clare, can deal with heavy and outsized ro-ro traffic, large livestock consignments and hazardous cargoes.
